Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 July 2026.
These terms govern your use of PDFWorks, a file conversion service operated by MDSolutions Miljantejs (mdsolutions.swiss). By uploading files or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
The service
PDFWorks lets you convert, compress, merge, and otherwise process documents, images, video, and audio in your browser. Files are processed by background workers and made available for download for a limited retention window. Features and limits may change as the service evolves.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the files you upload. You agree that:
- You own or have the right to process every file you upload.
- You will not use the service for unlawful content or purposes, including content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- You will not attempt to bypass usage limits, disrupt the service, or gain unauthorized access to other users’ files or accounts.
Accounts and billing
Accounts are optional and raise usage limits. Paid plans (day, month, and year) are billed through Stripe and grant higher limits and longer retention for the paid period. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Stripe customer portal. Charges already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.
Files and retention
Uploaded and generated files are stored privately and deleted automatically after the retention window for your tier (1 hour anonymous, 2 hours free accounts, 24 hours paid). Download your results before they expire; we cannot recover files after deletion.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a conversion will meet a specific quality, target file size, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MDSolutions Miljantejs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important files.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts at the operator’s registered seat in Switzerland have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
